HSA New Bedford Radio Interview

Horizon Science Academy New Bedford redefines the educational experience for their students by teaching them to discover, to ask questions, fuel their curiosity, and to learn how and why scientific phenomena behave in such a way that every action creates a reaction.

Principal Derek Raddatz recently joined a radio interview with Shannon Renee of Q95.3, where they discussed how the STEM-focused environment of HSA New Bedford empowers student exploration – whether through classroom exercises or robotics competitions – whereby students are seen, supported, and challenged.  

Principal Raddatz also discusses the aspects of the school which parents find most surprising upon their first visit to the campus (hint: it is a part of our community-centered approach). The interview then closes with details on how to visit/tour the campus, and information on how to secure a spot for the current school year.
